Ask the Broker.... "What's the hottest things to do for 4th of July 2018 in Roswell?"

Barbecue, Bluegrass and Fireworks are on tap for the residence of Roswell Georgia this year and we do it up right! The festivities start the day with our Fourth annual BBQ & Bluegrass at Barrington Hall located at 535 Barrington Drive and are scheduled to begin at 11am and goes until 4pm. The tradition originated in the 1800's with the King family holding a Fourth of July barbecue for family and friends. In 2015 the tradition was brought back and includes live bluegrass bands, beer and barbecue and of course some dessert. There is a fun area for the kids that will include arts and crafts and games.

At 5:30 head over to Roswell High School located at 11595 King Road for the 19th annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Live bands are scheduled to play on the front lawn of the school and will include Last Call Band beginning at 6pm and one of Atlanta's favorites Banks and Shane at 7:30pm. There will be food trucks and a Kids Zone with carnival games, prizes and giant inflatables. The food trucks that are slated to be there will include Big C's Chicago Kitchen, Philly Connection, Southern Crust Catering, Tex's Tacos, Not As Famous Cookie Company and Aurora Cineplex.

Depending on weather the firework display is scheduled to begin at 9:30pm. Be sure to arrive early and you are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for the whole family. Roswell Police would like to remind you that Roswell High school is a alcohol-drug-tabaco free school!
